Recommendations please for suede seat breeches. Proper suede not the faux stuff or sticky bum stuff.

I've not long had to bin my last pair of creambreeches with tan suede seat - very grippy, if a pain to wash! Not sure where to look for similar - I tried on the Kerrits sit tight winter leggins and welded my own legs together in the bedroom and promptly fell over, so they are sticky, though not suede!! |

Hi Tina, Pikeur do various styles with real suede that is also machine washable - not cheap though - some currently in the sales around £105 but they are usually around £140-150 - I usually wait for the sale! Otherwise Gorringe also do - but I dont think they fit very comfortably on the knees - the suede pulls. |

Sally, I had a pair of Gorringe once, I think they were just ordinary ones, never again, I hated them. Pikeur seems to be a popular recommendation and I'd rather pay a bit more for them as I know they will last. I wish I could remember the brand of the last pair I had, they were magnifico. Does anyone know if you can still get Cavallo breeches
Found somewhere that does Cavallo |

Hi Tzarina, I always buy Pikuer or Sarm Hippique with a full (genuine!) leather seat. As regards washing, I use one of the good brands of washing liquid made for delicate/woolen clothing & put them on a delicate cycle in the washing machine, works a treat! Kim Gasper. |
Many years experience owning & riding my own horses. Fell in love with Arabians at 11 years old when given a ride on "Trevallion", a 3/4 bred who was a livery where I worked as a stablehand. I have never forgotten that ride, Thank You Yvonne- should you ever read this!I now have 2 beautiful purebreds.
