Bit shocked to discover Baz has a corner incisor pushed forward by his adult tooth growing up and behind, Vet via text not to worry call in a month if it's not out..he's five in April how much longer do i need to keep extra watch on his chops? Is he normal or a very late developer? Anyone else got this going on?

I wouldnt worry, some are either early/late developers, have a 20month filly thats pushing her threes already, and have had an 8 year old pushing its final teeth. As long as it isnt affecting him eating then your vet is right, just wait and see and treat if necessary later on. |

My 7 year old had one baby tooth left even though the others had grown in. Vet recommended surgary to remove it but it fell out on it's own :) |

how wiggly is it? I've pulled a few out that were so wobbly they were annoying them eating... Otherwise, if he's ok to have his bit go in and out, wait and see a bit longer. It might split in which case you'll have to keep an eye on his gums as a slither remaining can be so painful - again some resolve themselves and others need an op. |

My filly is 5 in june she has just changed her last corner tooth. My horse dentist came last week and took it out when he rasped her teeth as she was hanging on to it and was pushing new tooth out of line. |

Interesting topic - I have just noticed that Eba has started quidding a bit. Can't find anywhere that hurts, and she doesn't seem to mind the bit. Have the dentist booked to come out. She is 5 next Friday.
She still has teething bumps under her jaw, although they are not anywhere near as pronounced as they used to be. B |
