Hi, this is the link to his entry on allbreeds, there is a headshot of him and a bit of info on his early showing career. (Select the tiny i in a circle symbol and photo icon next to his name in the middle above the pedigree, also his pedigree is given, obviously ) My filly (in sig pics) also has Ansata Halim Shah in her pedigree.
Welcome to AL!

Thanks ever so much, unfortunately she isnt regestered but i had been looking at her advert since last year and couldnt do anything about it then, but pulled a few strings and we hauled her all the way back from dublin 280 miles, but she was a star, she stood out in all that bad weather 2010 snow etc didny seem to know what short feed was, what with the crisis over here with the horse industry just didnt want her to end up on the scap heap, shes 18mths but a late july foal so shes behind to say the least, but bit tlc and i think she"ll be fine.thanks though, cheers jo |

Do you know who her dam is? I'm sure that with plenty of tlc your girl will bloom very quickly - she has lovely lines through her father. |

im trying to find out through the lad i bought her from he had her dam ive got apic but thats all at mo,it will take a while to get info fingers x he"ll get back to me on that, thanks linda keep u posted your info the (i) on all breeds helped atleast i know a bit more. I think he was bred by Mrs A W Potts, but i dont know if she has a stud page or if i could contact her maybe she would have a pic of him when he was a foal so i can see if she is like him,she is also bay with small white mark/star and a white snip on her nose her dam was grey so she takes after him im guessing, would load a pic of her but i havent worked out how to yet,as soon as i do i will.thanks though for taking the trouble to reply.jo |

If anyone has the 2007/8 AHS stud directory, Nahin is mentioned there - can't open it on line
He came second at Malvern in the Junior Colts 2 years old in 2003, exhibited and bred by Mrs A W Potts. I believe she may be based in Boroughbridge, Yorkshire, as Southwind Arabians, if it is the same Mrs A W Potts |

Thanks linda, she is starting to come out now and get her confidence, she has bad mudfever in one back leg so she will be in now till it drys up,so will be walking her out on the lunge, wont be a bad thing get to know her then and vice versa, she is sweet and trusting, she knows what feeding time is all about now thats for sure.such a shame she isnt regestered,i think she has the makings of being stunning,oh well ill enjoy her anyway, she"ll give me an my mum a buzz when she gets that tail up. thanks again jo. |

Not being registered is not the end of the world unless you want to breed or show at a higher than local level. Our gelding Harlequin is not registered, he is a very beautiful son of Keffan out of a Bey Shadow daughter, and has given us much joy, has done well at local showing level, done open endurance, hunted and is the love of my Mother's life (and she has owned many horses), he is now 20, I bought him as a 4 year old and he is a very special boy.
This is us competing at Windsor a couple of years ago |

hi yeah i know its not as long as shes happy and we enjoy each other thats the point, well i took her for a walk today and she has found her engery today, plenty of snort and blow and tail up and over her back showing off, better then last week falling asleep in the trailer going along, any tips or advice you can give me will be most welcomed as to feeding to keep her head, its so muddy here in the winter very wet land almost impossible to get them out till it drys up a bit, trying to build her up and keep her not to fizzy is the tuff part. well thanks catch u later,o hes a lovelly boy looks like you havent got a care in the world! jo |

Oh, Hiya I just saw your message on another forum as well, and popped on here to do a search for Nahin, as I see he won the Bath and West show for his previous owners, the Potts.. Did you look on Allbreedpedigree? There's a head shot of him there, and his pedigree
allbreedpedigree.com
Hope she continues to improve.. Good luck with her, and keep us posted as to how she's doing.
Where abouts are you? Best wishes Julia |

Just give her plenty of quiet handling, feet picking up, grooming and leading etc. and she will reward you I am sure. I would think she will remain bay now. Arabs are different, they are very clever and very special, and have very long memories, once you have created a relationship with one, other horses are just not the same (Although I dearly love my welsh x tb pony). |

sorry ment to reply sooner, got side tracked. yep she is doing great, putting on weight etc, rainscald clearing up nicely, she is now starting to bond with me i think, she"s alot happier with being strocked over the door on her face then she was,she would back away blowing which i thought was quite sad,but now she seems to come into the hand and look forward to her rub.she did jump out of the field into my welsh cob geldings, not a good idea, but managed to get her out unscathed (lucky) wont be letting that happen again, gave me a hart attack nearly died, but she is ok,is it something that they do just take a fancy and jump out? well fences to go higher antway, thanks jo.
