I know I've tried before but while there's so many new members I thought I'd try again Jay is 15hh (ish), aged mid to late 20's, has quite a wide blaze,3 socks and is freezemarked 76AG (I can't use his freeze mark to trace any owners.. I paid years ago for them to pass a message on to his last registered owners but I heard nothing back.) I've owned my lovely boy since 1995, he came form a dealer in Knowsley, he has a scar on his near side knee and a small white mark below his off side hock. I would just love to know where he came from and someone obviously loved him to bits before we did as he was always such a people loving pony!
old pics from 1995 onwards

more recent:

ETA: AFTER CONSTANT MITHERING OF THE LOVELY PEOPLE AT FARMKEY THEY HAVE GIVEN ME A LITTLE BIT OF NEW INFORMATION. JAY WAS FREEZEMARKED IN 1993 AND THE ADDRESS THEY HAVE HIM REGISTERED AT IS WIGAN. I KNOW THIS PROBABLY WONT HELP BUT HEY, I'M STILL CLUTCHING AT STRAWS HERE =P

Hi there! Slightly clutching at straws here!! Could your boy be older than 25? Does he have any papers with him? do you know anything about his bloodlines? Also does he have any kind of a mark near his girth line on the nearside? He has the look of a horse I'm trying to trace; I sold him to someone in Carlisle and lost all trace of him since so its conceivable he could have gone through a dealer in this region, but the horse I'm seeking would now be 29 as I have posted under where are they now? Many thanks |

Hi, Thanks for the link I have been on that website but with little success. I'm trying to trace Limekiln Kalypso, rose grey arab mare born 1979. 14.2 and freeze marked I moved to Cumbria in 1990 and had to leave her behind she was subsequently sold by a dealer in East Harling area and I completely lost trace of her...... ever since then I've been desperately trying to find her but drawn a blank everywhere I try! I've even tried the A.H.S but nothing She would be 31 now so I'm well aware she probably passed on years ago but I just want to know a bit about her life, she was very special to me and she's left a hole in my since 1990. I am also trying to find information on Sayyaf; he wasn't her son he was chestnut arab gelding also freeze marked born 1982 by Midnight Gold out of Rodanieh Hadiya. He was sold in Cumbria at about the same time, once again he would be very old but I saw him at a week old and he was mine for 10 years as was kalypso. I've been trying for 19/20 years now to find some trace of them both but nothing not so much as a vague whisper its almost like they never existed. If they went to non arab people there probably never will be any trace but i've got to keep trying. Sayyaf had a really lovely nature but my little Kalpso could be very very moody! There is a picture onthe bloodlines forum of a grey stallion nuch the same lines as Kalypso and so much the same to look at. Thank you for your help |

Hi, we have no papers, breeding info, nothing at all. We weren't 'Arab people' when we got him. I was 11 and just knew he was mine and gorgeous. Lol. So really he could be any age at all, but we don't think he's any younger than 23 though. He's got the scar on his knee and a black mark behind his ear but i've never noticed any marks on his girth line. I thought I'd be able to use his freezemark but all I could do was pay Farmkey to pass a message on to the people last registered with him and nothing came of it. He could possibly even be part arab not full but a lot of people have said he looks more full. One judge used to be an arab breeder in Wales and he laughed at me when I said he was possibly part bred :P . I do hope someone gets in touch about the ones you're lookin for x |

Hi, dug out some old photo's and I know your boy is not the one I'm searching for. He had a wider straight blaze....2 white stockings at the back and an off fore sock. I wish it was him though then I'd know he'd got a good home. |

It's nice to see that quite a few people have looked at this since yesterday =D please, if anyone can think of anything they might think is relevant I'd appreciate any information. I know I've said it before but after 17 years of not being able to find out his past or breeding even just finding out he was in Wigan was a majorly exciting breakthrough for me! |

Hi There, as you say he was freezebranded and registered in Wigan you could try contacting www.abramhallridingclub.co.uk in those days they used to have arab classes and in fact still do which is nice to know, at their monthly shows and the lady that runs it Jenny Crawford or her daughter Heidi may well be able to help. |
