Know nothing of your mare, but would love to see a picture and now her size, as I love part breds... There is a real mix in her pedigree with a dash of everything..every thing good toooo, Thoroughbred, Welsh Ponies & Cobs, Arab... with... McGredy - small TB, remember him well, Mikeno (Arab)remember him too. Lots of Welsh, (I've done the ride around Chirk Castle where these ponies were bred), Chirk was crossbreeding the Welch ponies and Arab (Crosby another Grey import).....and if you look at Chirk Catmint & Chirk Caradoc and go back you will see the dash of Imported Arab/Barb stallion in Sahara 1908, lots written about this chap who was born in the Sahara desert and made his way to Wales as an officer's charger at the out break of war in 1914, Winner at London Spring Show and turned on the hill to improve the Welsh breed....all his foals were Grey and he introduced that colour to the breed. And, Not forgetting the double line back to Bwlch Valentino, one of, if not the best riding pony breeding of all time ( Well my time)....lots written about that too on AL and its easy to spot how much Polo Pony blood was used in those early days to get the best riding ponies. Picture please, and has she got a sister ??? poss doing endurance??? Sue |

Omlette,
I have contact details for the owner of a mare out of the same dam as your pony but by a TB sire. If you would like them please PM me.

Forge Chantelle belonged to a friend's daughter for a few years before she started her breeding career when she came into the possesion of another friend and visited our stallion a couple of times with whom she produced two fillies.
