Zarello (aged 25) went out riding on Sunday with my daughter. She has not been ridden for quite some time due to health problems and she went to a place where she used to live 5 years ago. She went on a ride which had a big hill that she used to gallop up and she remembered!!! forget a steady trot.... She jogged all the way there then, not being allowed to gallop (because she is not fit) insisted on cantering up the hill sideways....
I wish the silly old git would remember her age sometimes.....

Our 19 year old gelding has been off for a while due to arthritic hocks, post treatment (injections) he was finally allowed out for a hack, shied everywhere, tanked off at full 'I was a stallion once' trot with his nose on his chest on the way home, Mum only able to stop him after he shot into the hedge on spotting a skip...Mum is 68, very arthritic hands and with a squashed vertebrae...They both came back very thrilled with themselves

So I have a pair of silly old xxxs to worry about....
