Ollies riding is comming on slowly but surely he is still a bit strong and lively at the start but once you get him relaxed softer on the hands and working from the legs he does actually do some nice work It usually takes about 20-30 mins to achieve this I took helen up today to get some pictures and then I convinced her to have a spin on him after asuring he won't kill her while trying to mount lol he only plays up as soon as you take him out to get on but once on you can dismount and remount and there is never a problem lol. so here is some pictures
Hi Pinkyboots I plan to make him into an alrounder I will work on his flat work for a bit he has an amazing jump but we need control first so dressage and maybe have a go at the racehorse to riding horse classes next summer but it will prob take me to the following year before he will be ready to do them seriously. I will then get him jumping and do working hunter sj xc etc. A local working hunter association now has a race horse to working hunter class just for ex race horses so plenty for him to do. I plan to have fun with him and do pleasure rides as well But he has so much potential for dressage and jumping in time
