Ok I know it's very early to be asking but I have a good reason (a new addition woohooo!).
Does anyone know what date the pally nationals will be next year please? oh, and any other dates if you have them. I want to get my bookings in nice and early to hire a trailer if I haven't found another by then. Thank you in advance

Hi Caroline They normally post the dates up on the BPS website before January so you should have plenty of time to buy, hire .... or even build a trailer .
Unfortunately, it was moved last year to Onley Grounds near Rugby which is a bit further for you and no where near as nice as Malvern.
There are palomino classes at Midland Arabian Festival and the 3 Counties though both at Malvern so I hope to see you there.
Who is your new arrival then? Very intrigued. Debs |

Hiya Debs, thank you for the shows info. It's a shame they moved the Nationals from Malvern
My new arrival is coming at the end of November - a lovely colt bred by Sarah at Sameon stud. I'm going to try and get him out this year while Bully is enjoying his retirement. Hopefully will see you at some shows, please come and say hello

Hi caroline, which one of sarah's colts did you buy as a metter of interest. I have seen all of foals this year and know how nice they are. Did you but the paler or darker pallie? Also was Shrek there when you went to see him?

Hi sab2. If it is the paler one he is absolutely stunning and friendly and just a spectacular mover even when very young. he is going to have a fantastic head and win some classes as PBA, coloured etc. sarah's are all nice but he was special. PS just noticed spelling in my last post apologies it was late...

Hi Badders, I bought Sameon Amber Gold. I don't think Sarah has ever advertised him. His foal coat is a lighter gold and he has four white stockings. I bought my other pally boy from Sarah a long time ago and when I saw this little man I couldn't resist.
Saddlebred, can't wait to see your girl out this year too

I am so jealous!!!
I was interested in one of Sarahs colts earlier in the year, sameon crystal panther- he was stunning!! sadly it wasn't the right time and luckily i didnt buy him as i am now 5 months pregnant and would have 4 horses! yikes!
I do hope to be able to buy a youngster from sarah in the future though- that would be my absolute dream horse.
I bet you are soooo excited! good luck with your gorgeous colt and yes pictures are a must when he arrives. Holly x |

Hi Zannyzan
Congrats on your new girl too are you going to show her next year?
I'm hoping my little guy will still be coming this Saturday but I guess a lot will depend on this weather we're having. We've got snow in Hereford at the mo and I don't know what it's like in Hampshire. Whereabouts in the country are you?

Plenty of Palomino's in the Midlands....now becoming more popular closer to home in Lancashire. So much so that we have a special 'Odd Coloured Class' at our new show on 6th February. This class includes Palomino's, Cremello's etc. Having put on a Full Palomino Section at a previous show some years ago we were left high and VERY dry, with only a couple of ponies forward....so embarrassing for the judges we brought from down country. However, clammering has commenced for us to put on classes again, so we'l give it a try. Unfortunately you're a wee bit far away as we're in Lancashire, but I'll watch your posting and if we have a group of classes in the future then it might be worthwhile to travel up and have a day out with us.
Good Luck with your ponies in 2011. |

omg.... "odd coloured horses" .... wash your mouth out Brenda or Vicki. Everyone knows that the only good horse comes in any shade of gold [( We are deeply offended |

LOL....HaHa I love those pally's but a I said previously no-one came when we put on a section, under panel judges too.
Best Wishes to all those pally people and hopefuly us up north can encourage a few more up here, then they won't get mixed in with all the others.
