| what dreadful sad news. Simon was a lovely man and an inspiration. I will never forget how kind he was to me at fontwell back in 2003, he and Susan showed me their photo's of their beautiful horses and we shared doughnuts! Simon was a true gentleman and will be graetly missed, my thoughts and prayers go out to Susan and his family. R.I.P simon, sleep well xxx |

| I just opened our local newspaper to see a beautiful photo of Simon & Susan. We've enjoyed fabulous hospitality at their wonderful open days on a few occasions, and although I've probably only ever shared a few words of hello & thanks with them, I felt they were genuinely nice people. He seemed a lovely man and obviously thought the world of Susan. We are so sorry he's gone and wish Susan, family & close friends much sympathy. Renee & Adrian |

| This is the most awful news. So sad. Our thoughts and prayers to Susan, family and friends. He was so obviously admired and loved by many people, a terrible loss. Heartbreaking. xx |

I am so so Sorry a wonderful man a lovely voice and a true gentleman, I am truly heart broken for Susan and there family my love goes out to you all at this awful time.

I was so so sorry to hear this news yesterday, poor Susan she must be absolutely devastated  .

| I was so very sorry to hear this news. We saw him at BACS and thought he was looking really well, but looks can be deceptive. I never knew or spoke to him but he seemed such a gentleman; thoughts and best wishes to Susan and his family. |

Poor, poor Susan, she has lost her soul mate....

My thoughts are with Susan at this difficult time.
My fondest memory of Simon was years ago when I was pregnant with my first child.
He offered to deliver the baby in the lorry "as he was a consultant"!(casualty days!) I was only having Braxton Hicks.
I think the show committee put him up to it, but it always made me giggle thinking back on it, and always will.
He will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy and condolences. |

So so sad, my sister has just been diagnosed last week with Ovarian cancer with secondaries to her lungs, prognosis poor. Cancer , what can I say, my whole family has died of this disease , its frightenening. But what I home into is what someone said earlier, Simon is there to meet all our fourlegged friends that pass over the Rainbow Bridge, and what a gentleman to welcome them, Susan should feel proud, we couldn't ask for a better ambassador!
My thoughts are with you and your family Susan.

| Words can not express how sorry we all are and what dreadful news this is, he was one of a kind, a gentleman, a family man, a great actor, just a legend, love and thoughts to susan and family, nothing will make you feel better at this sad time just remember you were the lucky one he shared his life with and you will have memories to treasure for ever, he will always be remembered and fondly thought of. x |
