Lots of positive thoughts and prayers sending your way, with all the amount of love and healing being transferred to little Sammy, he will be fine!

Just checking in to see how Sammy is doing. We can't afford to let the positive vibes slacken. Come on Sammy, we are rooting for you. Look at Buffy! a real example what of AL good wishes can do. (not forgetting good vets and diligent nursing of course) but faith is very powerful. |

Well I'm over the moon to be able to say that Sammy has turned the corner, and is a little bit better each day . This morning when I called his name, his head appeared over the stable door, and to me it was just the most beautiful sight ever !
Its hard to believe that this time last week both the vet and I weren't sure if he was going to make it - I'm sure all your prayers had something to do with it
No one has any idea what was wrong with him (it obviously wasn't Rhodococcus, thank goodness)- obviously I'm watching the other babies closely, but so far so good.
I feel I've been very lucky again, even more so because I know there are many on here who are suffering losses right now, and my heart really does go out to them
Just wanted to say thankyou to all of you who have written on here or PM'd me, it is amazing how all the support helps and keeps you going - THANKYOU
I'll try to get some pics of Sammy tomorrow to show how he is doing - he has been a star patient, letting me take his temperature and syringe all manner of things into him, without even a headcollar or an assistant (ok at first he was too poorly to protest but as he's got stronger, he's remained as obliging and sweet as ever) I didn't call him Samawee (angel) for nothing !
Thankyou all again ! xxx |

Thanks for the good news. Funny how we send out kind thoughts and then they multiply and come back to give us a good feeling when something comes right.
I just realised what a lovely name Samawee is.It really flows off the tongue. Well done Samawee. |
