Trying to find out where these horses are now. I know about Shulay Montana as I now own her but she was sold by Basil Newby along with Ferrida aka Mary, Sameon Cinnabarre aka Daisy and Legend Arabian Moonlight on the 21st May 2007 to a Mark Jones from Wales.
As many of you know, I bought Montana in October last year in a rescue situation. All of the above horses were sold 'together' with her and after tracing Montana's 'past life' have made contact with Basil's Yard Manager, Laura, who has given me lots of info but we are both wondering about the other horses who were originally sold with her.
Legend Arabian Moonlight is Shulay Montana's dam and Sameon Cinnabarre is her sister, so I am particularly interested in knowing how/where they are now.
Any info much appreciated.

Hi
I own Sameon Cinabarre ,I obtained her from Mark Jones last year . She is well and has had a beautiful palomino filly foal this year .I believe Mark Jones still owns Legend Arabian Moonlight

Fiona, thank you for replying, I did see your post on Saddlesoap but am still waiting for my registration to come through so was unable to reply to you!
Really pleased that Cinabarre has fallen on her feet with you and I have Montana so that's two accounted for. Do you have Mark Jone's phone number or contact details ? Please PM me if that's easier.
I would love to see some pictures of Cinabarre and her filly if you could post or send them to me ?
Montana is now really well and is my favourite ridden horse ! I have now owned her for 12 months ! We had a rocky first two months with health issues but she is now fit and healthy and the love of my life!
I must do a new post with pictures on her first 12 months with me. I would love to hear more about Cinabarre.

Yes... we need pictures Liz . I cant believe that little toastrack of a horse who caused us all so much angst has ended up being your fav riding horse within 12 months. Bless her.
How do they ever end up in these situations. So sad but at least there seems to have been a happy ending for at least two.
You must get her back in the show ring to wave the Shulay flag. I'm sure she will love it and what a story that would be in the Palomino magazine. Riches to rags to Riches again. Hollywood stuff.
I am so glad that she is in a happy safe place now.

Well Done, you lot..what a lovly story..and a Palomino Filly... what a treasure.....Can anyone now start to follow up on the missing 1 or 2..
Did these go through Llanybydder Sale ???.
Get your thinking caps on folks..lets see if the others are about.
