It never ceases to amaze me that beautiful horses like Bouchan and Shulay Montana who are so kind and talented end up at a sale! I know that people fall on hard times and dont like to judge but I would not allow mine anywhere near a sale no matter what befell me.
Thank goodness Bouchan has found you. I am sure he will do you proud. Scars wont matter at most levels of showing. If he looks that beautiful and goes well he could definitely still win despite scars. Go for it.... and he looks like he will do a nice dressage test as well.
Jo, I've missed all this as been off and about for last 2-3 months. Can't believe that you have another horse and a rescue one at that!! Wow sounds like an amazing story and he looks so beautiful, good for you and I hope you have many years of happiness together ! Do you keep him with Ishara?

Hi Jen I know it all happened so fast can't quite believe it myself! I keep him at a different yard as he will live out hopefully although he's going to be in all winter as he's got a small tear in his tendon but he goes out during the day on his own. He'd already been rescued before I got him but wasn't doing very much at all just the odd hack every few weeks. Can't wait to do a bit with him but concentrating on Ishara anyway over the winter so gives him plenty of time to recover.
