My horsebox went for mot today as well, she passed bless her so i have just been to pick her up, so pleased she passed as i had to bring mare and foal in tonight as its going to be a wet one.
Oh Vera i have been waiting 8 weeks for mine it went in 2 and a half weeks before Malvern failed on brakes i am still waiting the good news is part is now in its had a brake test done and all's good now back for the plate again Thursday it makes you think about buying a trailer instead
Spoke to the mechanic last night as he said that he's going to have to strip the brakes down, he didn't mention the hand brake. Apparently VOSA have recently changed the rules and it would have passed under the old ones. The test station I use is notorious for being ultra strict too , for the best I suppose!
Got to be better then citroen main dealer in Derby who does things by numbers. Our C1 has only done 45000 miles, in less then 2 years, and they were saying the brake disks needed replacing and the pads had to be done at the same time, wanted 240.00 squid to do it at the service. So booked it into a local garage that does my L200 and they took a look at it cleaned the disks and gave it back to me for 39.00 squid with only about a thumbnails width of wear on the disks and pads barely used!!!!!
