After Michelle and Rosie have had such a busy year I thought things may quieten down a little bit at autumn time? No - looks like they will still be kept busy! Michelle is taking her X-country schooling, then the following week doing a hunter trial, also representing the pony club at showjumping in October, then at the beginning of October, Michelle and her best friend Alice are doing a pairs competition pleasure ride- they are already planning on what to wear for their matching outfits! I must say that even though Rosie is 20 she seems super fit & it seems to be keeping her young. Added a pic taken last week of Chelle doing her first ridden Arab class on Rosie - thanks Chelle for riding her so beautifully into 1st place. Sorry for the long post - hope I don't bore you all?
Rosie may get a couple of months rest around Xmas time?

Lovely picture, i think by the sounds of it Rosie may get bored if you give her too much time off. |

What fabulous condition she is in, and fit. Rosie looks half her age.
You must be so proud of them. |

Thank you for all your kind comments - I'm so proud of them both. Tonight Rosie was out show-jumping training with their team trainer for the pony club. Rosie was soooooo enthusiastic & Michelle thinks now that she enjoys jumping more if she has a few days off doing other things. She was doing games yesterday, hacking the day before & showing last week! |

I love Rosie, we have a grey mare ( now 22 & semi retired due to arthritis) who is a former stalwart of the Pony club show jumping team, so it's great to see another mature Arab lady flying the flag
Ours definitely needs variety too, gets very bored if she has to do the same thing all the time....she really loves to get out and do the odd pleasure ride or clear round jumping. |
