Someone you don't want entering your paddocks? Someone who helped us last year, but left in dodgy circumstances (nearly caused major incident with one of horses, plus stuff went missing) has been seen this week at least once in the field with our horses by our farmer, who told her to get lost. But a friend has also seen her in there - don't know if this is the same occasion or separate, but on two occasions we've found the electric gate out of the mare's paddock undone (which they couldn't do themselves, bright though Jamana is!).
Due to the circumstances in which we parted company, no doubt that she is up to something fishy. Farmer and friend are keeping an eye open, but wondered if there was anything else we could do. May have to change combination locks on gates and put lock on electric fence battery?...

If she has ever had keys to anything I would change the locks and the combination! Can you hide the electric meter in the hedge or somewhere?Horrible feeling knowing that someone you are no longer on speaking terms is snooping about, been there |

come and steal our big grey mare from teh yard, she would be running away fro her life if she entered the field with her haha nooo
if shes ever had keys no's numbers to locks? change combinations or padlock, and padlock both ends? so that the gate cnt be unhitched, to ensure there safe inthere and no way to get them out.

If it was myself id report her to police . I know she hasnt done anything yet ! But at least if its reported and the police might have a word in her ear may be enough for her to leave your horses alone. So pathetic trying to get to u through your horses no consideration for their welfare .such a horrible situation . good luck x |
