I took my 4 year old pba Just Maybee [Groomsbridge may 1 ex Just corn dolly] to her first dressage competition on sunday she scored 72% in the intro, she would have won this overall but i had to go hc as i have gained BD points at elementary with her brother. Then she won the prelim 15 with just over 70%,to say i was pleased with her is an understatement.Sadly she's the last of the line as i lost her mum in may.

Really well done Sarah, flying the flag in open competition. I remember Corn Dolly....her bright chestnut coat, with white stockings and blaze....and particularly her absolutely fabulous floating paces, her great length of stride, eating up the ground as she powered round the Arena
Very high percentages.....onward and upwards in the World of Dressage Excellent result

Thankyou for posting link to my photo Georgia, and thanks Babs for saying such nice things about Corn Dolly. she was a wonderful little mare and not just a pretty face.I showjumped her in our younger days, and when North staffs summer show was on Stafford showground she won the working arabian a couple of times. |

Thanks for posting the picture. She's lovely. I too remember Corn Dolly and am very interested to see the offspring of Groomsbridge May I. The cross seems to have worked very well. Well done.

Wow! Well done. Makes my 51.3% score in Intro B 2 weeks ago laughable!! What a stunning mare. Lots of luck to you for a successful future. |

congratulations! I'd seen on FB that she had done well but I hadnt realised her percentages were so high, a real credit it to you with her training! I've used Groomsbridge May I myself and have been very pleased with the offspring everytime, he does seem to cross very well with arabs.
this little lady is my latest by him - out of part bred arab mare Simply Irrezistable. |

Gosh Pam your Groomsbridge May1 foal is super. Got to say though, she very much looks like her dam, Simply Irresistible. Nice one for the future
Hope Purdie has settled when and look to the future....sure she will produce good foals for you.
Apologies for going off topic
Would love to see some piccies of Corn Dolly

Sarah I'd also love to see some pictures of Corn Dolly if you have some?
Babs Purdie settled well and is gorgeous! Edie's foal is exactly like her! I'm hoping she'll be making an appearance at the foal show. |
