Thanks again folks for the great welcome and the lovely comments about the horses, I'll be sure to pass them on ! Pinto' you're right about the aquired afflictions and these are on top of chronic Morganitis.....I'm a hopeless case I think
....Methinks Pete is already way past the early stages...a severe case indeed, Morganitis and Arabitis is far too advanced for a cure to be effective
If it helps at all with your incurable condition, be consoled, you will find many likewise afflicted peeps on Arabian Lines only too willing to discuss their symptoms with you....group therapy
Thanks Babs, it's kind of reassuring to know we're all in the same [sinking?] boat and we can all go pleasantly potty [isn't that the end stage?] together.
Hello and welcome Pete. There is hope. I've been living with a very bad case of Arabitis and Saddlebreditis with a heavy dose of Palominoitis to boot.
They are not life threatening conditions but they do hurt A LOT - mostly in the heart and the pocket.
I love Morgans - I have met a few Monnington and Landside Morgans over the years. Was hoping to get my Saddlebred to the UK-USA shows when (and if) she recovers from her recent surgery.
Your horses look lovely. Super pictures of mum and daughter running through the field.
Thanks Saddlebred. I think whenever someone buys a horse they may as well sew thier pockets up because they certainly won't be used for keeping money in that's for sure.Still, I'd rather be skint with the horses than well off without! I hope your mare is soon in good health and you can make it to the shows; may even see you there. I'll be the skinny balding bloke with the bewildered expression.
