Just wondered if anybody knows anything about my mares parents, would love to know a little more and know what they looked like etc, and if she has any siblings, have tried looking on the internet numerous times but never seem to come up with anything. She was bred by Mrs F J Karle Sire: INDRANI (INDRISS/BLUE FANTASY)
Dam: TAMZIN (not ahs reg) (WELSHGOLD MASTER SUNTAN/SUNSILK OF FIJAL)

Hi...this may help Go on allbreedpedigree
Type in INDRANI AND YOU WILL GET A FIVE GENERATION PEDIGREE OF HER SIRE
Then scroll down the left hand side keys to "photos" and you will be able to see pics of his ancestors

There is a reference to a mare called TAMZIN PBAR XII
I haven't got vol XII so can't check out her breeding.
In PBAR XXIV she is listed as the dam to Tamzins Springtime Melody (sire Roman Melody), bay filly born 1982, breeder Ms S. Francis. |

Thankyou, have had a look on allbreeds, couldn't find a picture of her dad, but saw pics of her grandfather and other ancestors which was nice. Is there any way of finding anything out about mum, obviously it says she is (not arab registered) but how do i find out what breeding mum was? |

Wow thats fantastic, would love to see a photo of your boy too, Sahara has certainly been a fantastic jumper and now still if you attempt to walk her over a pole on the ground she will clear 3 ft. She is now 30 and as fit as a 10 year old, i have no idea if she may have new forest in her she looks very "araby" so have never known what the rest of her is! Will add a couple of pics taken over the last couple of weeks.

She really is such a fantastic amazing pony, she had a wonderful 2 hour hack round the woods last week and a day playing in the school with the children, she never ceases to amaze me, she never breaks into a sweat and just takes everything in her stride. she's just amazing!! |

I contacted the new forest pony society re Sunsilk Of Fijal and i've recieved this reply....
we have a Sunsilk of Fijal reg no: MO9267 Vol 14 Stud Book Dun mare foaled 1971 by Telegraph Blaze out of Telegraph Queenie. The Fijal prefix is a New Forest prefix registered to Mrs B Stiles
So mums mum was a "newforest" so now i just need to find out who mums dad was (so i know what mum was) then i might finally know what the other half of my girl is
So anybody know anything about Welshgold Master Suntan?? I'm assuming he's welsh?? |

Hi I don't know if you have access to backnumbers of the AHS news but no 51 page 12 has a photo of Indrani. (I have created a database of Crabbet/Old English photos in AHS news and some books so I can use it with the Crabbet Journal) Honeybunch |
