I forgot about these pictures, i took ros to a local show in 2008 and he was riding so well i entered him into the ridden horse class and had to plait him. |First and last time i ever plait an arab his mane was far too long. Though the length its at now he would plait up really well lol. Thats the last time ros was shown. That morning i took him inhand first and he was snorting and blowing and prancing, and everyone was like your not gonna ride him. They never believed me til they seen it that as soon as the tack goes on he switches off to everything.
honey lovely photos and it reminds of a good few years ago when we plaited up our pure bred, September Shade (Bey Shadow/September Gold) and put her in a Riding Pony Broodmare Class with her part bred foal Jack a Dandy (Strinesdale Matador). Shade won her class and qualified for the NPS Champs and her foal went Champion Riding Pony Foal. Unfortunately I haven't got a photo of her at that show this is just a very old one taken a couple of years before at Malvern with the first foal she gave us Antsar Eddie (Courtway Viscount).
Antsar Eddie won his PBA Foal class at Malvern.
Edited to say that the lady holding the foal is Chris James Showing World Equestrian Journalist - a most definite gain for Showing World, shame the AHS don't contribute so that their members receive a free copy. I get mine through my NPS membership.
