It is with real sadness that I announce the loss of my Beloved foundation mare affectionately known as Old Ma Tara. She has been my companion since a weanling in Sept 1978 and she really IS Elmdale stud. RIP my dear Tara, i will miss you more than i can ever express, and i promise to look after your family.xxx

RIP gorgeous Tara, i am so glad that we saw her a few weeks ago, the beautiful old girl.
She was so lucky to have had such a fantastic Mum in you Verena and had a lovely long life.

Oh dear another loss  , so sorry you are in the same place I am now, take comfort from your friends and family and dont be afraid to cry, it gives you a nasty headache but it does relieve some of the pain 
RIP Tara knowing the rest of your family will be safe where they are now . xx hugs to you. |

Oh no! So sorry for your loss V - a matriarch is a wonderful gem and I know she was cherished at Elmdale. What a star she was, and what stars she left you

| she must have had a really good life to reach such a grand age, and been blessed with one loving home for life never knowing the uncertainty that so many horses have. You should be proud of your achievements, much love to you at this difficult time |

Hope you are feeling a little better today Verena. No horse could have been more loved or better cared for, for the whole of her long happy life and you were there for her at the end, as she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, with dignity
Dear sweet Tara, rest peacefully as you graze again with your daughter Tasha (now reunited)in eternal green pastures. You will never ever be forgotten and your legacy, through your offspring will live on at Elmdale stud for many years to come.
Hope Patrick and Snoopy dog have helped you through this very sad time, as I know how much Tara meant to you. What a lucky horse she was to have had a lifelong home, with such a loving and caring owner
