Shame you couldn't make it this year Kirsty, it was a lovely show...some lovely ridden and in-hand horse! For me i was taken with Saszarta (such a lovely mare! Below me away) Rubi Tuesday (Very nice young filly indeed!) and Judals Oasis (very strong handsome 3 year old colt!) Of course i loved watching my two lovely boys in the ridden ring with Ceri too
Hope you make it next year Kirsty!

Hi Linda,
Yes Saszarta is just your type isn't she?!!!! Would love to have seen her myself as I have only seen pics so far. Looking forward to seeing pics of Qamar's colt Judals Oasis too - it sounds like he has really matured.
Kirsty x
P.S My hubby still talks about about how much he liked Qamar El Dine! |

Hmmmm - just one?????? I would like the ridden champion as he seemed like a really nice horse. I liked some of the stallions I saw in the classes - the white one that won the older class? He seemed really nice. I also liked one of the younger stallions, he was chestnut with a white mark on his face. LOVED the way he moved!!! I don't think the judge liked him though????
I seem to be going for boys, ha ha ha!!!!!

Have had a look at the fab photos on Sweet Photography.
I would take home Stivalery too - along with Saszarta, Mirwana, and a couple of the fillies Rod Jones was showing |

Well I like the riding Arab type myself - being ridden or look like there is somewhere to put the saddle and go off over those Malvern Hills for the day. I loved the Novice Ridden Champion, the Nazdromal gelding Kezzan. He didn't put a foot wrong in the main ring and looked a proper sensible athlete with a great outlook on life. Also loved the Senior Ridden Stallion winner Silvern Prince - with Darren aboard one could almost mistake him for PHA Silvern Risalm all over again apart from the extra leg white!
Loved the veteran mare Maiad too, also Supreme Champion in the Crabbet Championships. There's more but I guess they'd do to be going on with - take them home and put Maiad in foal to Silvern Prince! Now there's an idea!
Was going to post a couple of piccies but Flickr have changed their layout and I can no longer find how to "grab the url" - anyone worked that out yet? |

OK, thanks to Rui, I've got the hang of the Flickr changes - here is that ridden stallion I like, Silvern Prince.
