These are 2 are the sire and dam of my current mare Arhia.

I've found a little info on Khairouan's previous racing career and final stud farm before he sadly passed.

I was wondering if anyone had any more information on him? Or pictures possibly?

The dam, I'm at a loose end with, I can't find any records of her so any information would be appreciated thankyou :)

This is Avril de Syrah's pedigree

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/avril+de+syrah

She had a filly by Volpone in 2006 called Avone

Khairouan has a lot of progeny listed - follow this link to his pedigree and use the progeny button on the reports menu on the top left(it may not be complete - Avril de Syrah's progeny listing certainly is not, apart from your horse she also had a foal called Aakbe by Akbar who has raced, listed as having raced in Saudi earlier this year).

Here is his pedigree

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/khairouan

and this information has been placed on allbreeds about him

Khairouan (Fr) – Won seven races including the prestigious Desert Storm Twice, half brother to Group 1 National Bank Gold Cup winner Khoutoubia and twice Group 1 Dubai Stakes placed Khaddour. Now deceased but is the sire of several UK winners (4th leading UK sire in 2005) – including Listed 7 f Newmarket winner Kaich, dual 10 furlong winner CS Khamsin and Premier Handicap winner Deolali (10 f), his other winners include CS Khan, Sarafina and Makhai. *2006 his winners inc. CS Khamsin, Aljaareh, Makhai, Millenium Leap & Deolali.

Hope this helps a bit

If you google the Bahou Stud you will find a photo of Avone at the bottom of the mares page - she is your horse's half sister.

I own CS Khan (Khairouan x Cikada) who was a multiple winner on the racecourse and has, this year, achieved his FEI 1* endurance qualification. Also Kizhi (Khairouan x Sucha) another multiple winner on the racecourse and she has also gained her FEI 1* this year.

Racing this year in the UK are Aakbe, owned by Athbah Stud Ltd, Deolali and Millenium Leap. I also have Wikkara (The Wiking x Akara De Syrah). I do have a black and white photo of Khairouan along with some information that was posted up outside the stable when I brought Kizhi. The info states that Khairouan was the property of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. If you want to PM your name/address details I'll send you copies.

It may be worth you contacting Paul Simmons, who posts on here as Sundance, as he's a mine of information on racing bloodlines and may be able to help you further with your mare.
