I would like to send huge congratulations to Alicia at Azeen Arabians on the birth of the much awaited foal out of Silvern Sheena.
Sadly due to a ligament injury Sheena was retired from the show ring last year, a very hard decision for us to make but one we had no option but to do. This wonderful fairytale mare made dreams come true for Alicia & I, so ending her career was a hard blow for both of us.
Today has been a new chapter for this fairytale mare, producing 'Ruby' who we are hoping will follow in her mothers footsteps in time...
Ruby & Sheena
Sheena the proud mum shining in the ring
Congratulations!
Emily x

Oh Emily - thank you so much for posting this, you've made me well up for the umpteenth time today LOL
To say we were waiting with baited breath is an absoloute understatement. I'd have been happy with any sex, but a filly from these wonderful parents really is very special to us - She will be registered as Rusheena, another 'Sheen' to follow on her infamous dam line.
Proud Mummy Sheena and baby Ruby are both doing great, and will be cherished. Promise to have more pictures for you soon.

Well done Sheena, Rusleem and all the human slaves connected! Hope they both thrive and enjoy a summer of long sunny days, rather than that rain! |

Alicia & Emily,
I am really made up for you both. Ruby cannot fail to shine with a mum like Sheena, one of my all time favourite ridden mares. I also know that Ruby will be loved and cherished by the both of you, just as you both do Sheena. |

Thank you so much everyone for your generously kind comments. Apologies that it has taken me so long to add some more pictures, i'd managed to forget my flickr account details.

Thank you ladies - she's a little shy but i'm betting that will change.
Jo - She will be grey, and hopefully just like her Mother |
