Hi everyone, I thought you might like to see our new arrival. She is a little mini by our own American Miniature Horse Stallion "Zars Grand Fortune" - imported USA, out of a little French mini that we purchased called Elisa. She lost her first foal last year, so we are delighted this one has arrived safely. We had a busy night last night with an old ewe producing triplets (sleep, sleep, where are you!!!) LOL. THe ewe only has one quarter so unless we can find an adoptive mum, the bottle will have to come out!
Not sure what colour she will be, at the moment she is a really shiny golden colour, no sign of white mane/tail so I don't think she will be palamino like her dad. I doubt she will stay this colour, but it would be wonderful if she did. First photo at 2hrs old (when I could get OH out of bed, LOL) - 2nd photo at 7.30am when she was nice and dry.

Well.......what a real cutie is she
Certainly unusual colour but don`t think chestnut as chestnut are usually born with pink pigmentation around the eyes that turns black within a few days Will be interesting to see what colour she will finish out
Really lovely...bet you are well pleased

Awww, how sweet! She's absolutely adorable - no idea on colour though.
I'll have to come for a visit as you're not that far from me. I was over your way the other day but as I was having an interview I thought it best not to see if I could visit you beforehand!! |

Congratulations. Nice for you to have something good to celebrate. Elisa looks quite surprised!!
I'm betting she will be palomino. The white mane and tail come through later. |

Update - piccies We have called our little cutie "Honeysuckle". Not sure if she is palamino or not. Will try to get a good head shot for you all.
You can see a couple of arabs in the background (grey is Amy and chestnut is Palemira)
Hope you like her. |
