Except this time it's different. My darling girl has granted my greatest wish and given me a FILLY  
This is Rose's last foal as she is 23 years old and is only her 4th filly from 14 foals so she is very precious to us!

yeahey!!! at last  Rose knew it was her last one and thought 'why not gove her what she wants?!' Glad both doing well, good girl Rose, and Tobago too of course  |

I have absolutely no doubt she will be every bit as stunning as her full brothers.

Wonderful news Karen - and you were so convinced foalie would be another one with "outside plumbing". Fancy the old girl foaling during the day!
Della looks to be a big, strong girl, and oh my goodness she does look like her big brother!
At least she'll stop coveting Beth's foal now.

Thanks everyone so much for your congratulations. I can't tell you how made up I am that my darling's given me a girl! I'm still checking daily to make sure it remains a filly so not many photos taken I'm afraid
Here's a few of De La Rosa day one outside though ...

I love the one of her trying to lay down - you can see that Rose is an experienced mum as she's not worried, she's just letting her sort it out for herself!
Wow, look at the front on her! The Rose x Tobago cross really does give strong, typey babies. Has she got any unususal whorls like Chips has?
You really don't need to keep peering under her tail - I GUARANTEE she won't morph into a boy-child!

Wow Karen fab filly and great name. Rose looks superb as well and has done the filly really well, the Pystadel son on Aboud daughter cross is clearly a winner!
