The lady that owns Rosie's son does long-distance with him & shes now training on the beach twice weekly. They have one stretch of 4 1/2 miles from Whitby going northwards. Word of warning- study the tide timetable first as the tide turns quickly.
Hi my cousins have horses n they go to Ainsdale beach not far from Southport they say it's great not been myself though. Hope that helps you have a great time when u decide to go b x
Apparently you can go on the beach at Lytham St Annes near Blackpool as well - no permission needed, just part and go on - well that's what another Pony Club member told us. They do all their dressage training there - they mark the arena out in the sand.
This makes me realise how lucky I am here in Swansea we have loads of beaches to choose from around the Gower although some do have seasonal restrictions, so if you ever get the chance come riding in the Gower it's beautiful
