Hi, Keep trying with your pics..you may just need to alter the IMG's.. I also think he has some Crabbet. If you go back to Naseem and the others there, Naseem was bred in GB and went (sold) to Russia. Naseem. Color: gr Height: 14.0
GSB 25/P990
Bred by Lady Wentworth, Crabbet Park, Poundhill, Three Bridges, Sussex, England. Imported from England to Russia in 1936. Sire of one hundred eleven registered purebred Arabian foals. He is of Excellent Seglawi (oriental) Type; Considered by his breeder Lady Wentworth as the very best son of the immortal Skowronek, NASEEM stood as chief sire at Crabbet Park in the stead of his sire for many years, breeding many of the Studs finest mares. At age 14, he was the star of the 1936 Crabbet exportation to Russia, a move that would greatly expand his influence beyond that of the outstanding foals he sired in England. Amazingly, NASEEM would stand at stud at Tersk as the premier foundation stallion for another 17 years, siring 87 foals, 26 of whom were selected for breeding (6 sons and 20 daughters). NASEEM proved a most prepotent sire with the foundation mares from French, Crabbet and especially Polish lineage. With startling consistency, the get of NASEEM were blessed with his superior type and elegant forehand, characterized by a small, beautifully refined and dished head with large, dark, expressive eyes and an incredibly long, superbly shaped neck with an extremely fine and supple throatlatch. Though on the small side at 147 cm, his build was nonetheless strong and solid, with dry desert constitution, an especially good shoulder and foreleg as well as excellent motion. Like many of the other Arabians descended from Skowronek, NASEEM was blessed with youthful vitality and impressive longevity. Having lived through both the exportation to the East and the hardships of World War II, which included an evacuation of the Tersk Stud to Kazakhstan, NASEEM lived in excellent health until 1953, siring foals each year, until he finally found rest at the grand old age of 31.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/pendant5 Leaving you the link again..If you click on Naseem, go the left listing and click on photos at the bottom, you will see all the loaded pictures of his relations of this horse, so many where Crabbet... Including the Crabbet, Naseen and his sire/dam.etc.etc. and NUREDDIN II who's pic was taken at Crabbet. The little red star on allbreeds means there is a photo loaded for you to look at..
He was also Grey.. might be where his Grey came from. Hope you find that interesting too. Aswan (a Gift for the Nile Dam) & Priboj are in there too, both lovely horses and tell there own stories.... You could ask someone with the 1991 stud books to check his colour, althought he would need to be listed in the GB stud books, AHS..
Just out of interest, I do have a photo of a Chestnut horse with the same name..so maybe there are others with this name and in other stud books... Is your paperwork for the AHS or other.. Sue |

Hi, have added you head shot to the allbreeds and changed the colour to Grey and added Crabbet to the breeding.. To save any confusion and if you like, His ( I see he's a Colt and has one offspring recorded)) AHS vol. and page number can be added to his info.( as I know there is a chestnut horse of the same name). Once you have a Summer pic..let us know and this can go on the allbreeds. plus, his breeder and any other info you wish to add.. Cheers Sue

hes a gelding now he was gelded about 7-8yrs ago now. Would love to see a pic of his offspring if theres one on there? Was it a filly or colt? oh and what was its name? sorry lots of questions. Its just im so interested n finding out about him and his family. On his papers it says he was chestnut? but hes a flea bitten grey? my mum used to work on an arab stud farm when she was younger and said there was a colt born that was chestnut but as he got older he turned flea bitten grey? maybe thats what happened with pendant? I will get his breeders name of his papers tommorrow as ive left them down my mums. I no that he was bred in switzerland. Thankyou so much for all the info. xx |

My 5 year old pale dappled grey mare (in my sig pics below) was born chestnut, so it's more than possible that Pendant was too.
No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that C stands for Colt, H for stallion and M for mare on this site.
If you go to his pedigree and pick the drop down called reports you can view the photos of his ancestors, and also his progeny - he only has one listed (could of course be more), she is called Pendant's Gem, a mare born 1998.
Hope this helps a bit |

Pendant.. YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY All breeds to look at the info. Just click on the link.. I'll leave it again and look at what you want...Go tio the Left Drop Down List..
I would think its the M mare/C colt/H horse. But they are colour coded on all breeds.. Blue for th boys and pink for the girls... Leaving the link for his one offspring..No Picture...yet..
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/index.php?query_type=horse&h=PENDANTS+CHARM&g=5&cellpadding=0&small_font=1&l= ( If you click on any horse in this pedigree and it will load up and go back 5 generation...OK.) Changed his to a Gelding now too.. Go to the left hand column and click on progeny and a list (just the one) will show, Click on that name and it will load up.. Same with looking at the photo's, Left hand cloumn again, go to the botton photos and click on it and it will load them all, so many of the older Crabbet's are there too. scroll down and you'll see the lot, including your chestnut turned grey. OK. Sue

If the off springs are registered and in AHS, you should be able to find them, or at least there names.
Bia, On here might look for you, she is the only person I now who has the info. or you can try the AHS. Sue |
