I'm watching Richard Hammond's Invisible Worlds on BB1 now.
He's just featured fungal spores which grow on horse poo. It shoots its spoors out from 0 to 20 in ...... 2 millionths of a second!!!! It is the fastest thing known on the planet. Fascinating!
