As today was sunny and relatively warm, my grandson William (21 months old) put on his riding gear to give his pony, Mini Bert, a good workout in the arena!!
Got my new hat on so just need to find my pony...
Come here Bert ...
This mounting block is very big ...
Mini Bertis an absolute saint and puts up with his Arabian friends who all adore him! It's not easy always being the shortest guy in the herd!

Thank you Anne. Nothing cuter than a little kid and a small pony! |

Roseanne, have dug out a few pics from end of 2008 when he was tiny. He was a little more interested in his tiny quad that goes all of 1kph today!

Ha ha ha Liv did you break Bert in yourself? Can just imagine you peddling like fury! Julia what great pictures - does Bert want some assertiveness training from my mini Cherry? She doesn't know (or doesn't care!) that she's the smallest one in my herd. |

Lovely, lovely photos!! Must start training a little pony for my grandaughter (I have two ponies) unfortunately my daughter is not very horse orientated (a lifetime of living with me, I think!) |

Really appreciate all your nice comments, thank you so much. Fortunately, Bert was backed before we bought him. He has always been the sort of pony where you could leave him for 6 months or more and then put the smallest child on his back when he would behave impeccably. Unfortunately, these little guys often just don't get enough to do! Here is the final photo to complete the sequence!
Whooaa Bert! Once I ditch the parents we can do some seriously fast work... |
