Does anybody have any photos of Ben Rabba..i have a little hole in my heart for him from years back when the stud i worked for had a Ben rabba mare,any pics i can droop over will be happily recieved..PLEASE.
Yes , but I will first check with Beatrice Paine that it is okay to post because the photos I have came from her, partly as an illustration of his prepotency . There are now some very exciting and instantly recognisable horses with Ben Rabba 3 and even 4 generations back in addition to those with him closer up (have you seen the advert for Alkara Cezah - and of course the lovely photos of Buffy (Boudicca) and Nazeekah in addition to my own Marcus Aurelius )
You may be interested to know that Beatrice is in the process of getting published her diary of the days that she spent in the USA searching for a son of Aurab to bring back to the UK in order to reintroduce the lost (to the UK) Nasik line... and her first meeting with Ben Rabba. There will be previously unpublished photographs of horses including Ben Rabba and Aurab within this account...
I bought a second hand book on Arabians and inside I found a photo someone had left there. I'll have to find out how to get the photo on here as it may belong to someone on AL. He was a super looking horse.
I'm lucky to have a grand daughter, Bakeeta 8-) If you google Ben Rabba you will find lots of pics and info, I do have a few on my puter but not sure of copyright.
I too am lucky to have a Ben Rabba grand daughter, Naseekah, and great grand daughter Boudicca (aka Buffy!) It was love at first sight for me when I met the wondrous Aurelian.
Rowena I am highly chuffed that you mentioned my two in the same sentence as your gorgeous boy!!!
I also have a grandaughter of his by sandras lovely stallion ben shirab. I absolutly love this breeding always have so it was ment to be when I found my dream horse for sale with his breeding!
