I have just had the very sad news that Joy Steele has sadly passed away after a battle with a brain tumor Not only did she have and breed some fantastic horses, she was also an amazing 'horse woman' Deepest sympathies go to both her young girls who after loosing their father some years ago now have to deal with loosing their mum. RIP JOY
What a sad end and my heart goes to her daughters. I have many fond memories of Joy and her really lovely horses - the one that immediately springs to mind is her lovely Ralvon Elijah daughters being show years ago at Ascot. God bless Joy xx
OMG !, she was no age! I also remember Joy when I went to visit her and her husband some years ago, he had cancer and was very Ill , she struggled to cope with the horses and the children and now she has gone too ! My heart goes out to her children.
Just read this post with great sadness.Joy started both my mares and had my stallion after the recommendation of Angie B. An amazing woman who had such an aura of calm.My heart goes out to the girls.Rest in peace Joy
Mittens informed me last night about Joy. So very sad to hear this. She was such a lovely lady who helped us enormously with our mares and stallion. My heart goes out to her girls and family at their loss.
