As most of you probably know alot of our land is forestry , so me in my wisdom decided to cut it all down on one side of the house even though it looked lovely , now it looks so bare I did it so I could make a summer paddock with plenty of shade, its on a slight incline, which has turned out to be a bit more than I thought , it looks really strange, although the views are spectacular across the valleybut I cannot help thinking have I made the right decision........bit late now

| time will tell i know of people that have done wot you have in canada, all was fine 4 years, but as they took the stumps out and the roots have roted away, a very wet winter well they moved,,, as a mud slid took their lovey house down the hill |

Don't worry Gerri, plant some more quick growing trees if you are still unsure in a couple of months. |
