A friend of mine does Thor Laser treatment and it sounds amazing. I haven't had a need to try it as yet (touch wood!) but it can be used for loads of ailments. She gave me all the info on it and I would use it if needed.

i have tried it on myself, and it did wonders, and quickly... so i hired the lady to come to the yard and treat my old racehorse who had a mild tendon injury... i also sped up his recovery... i will definitely recommend it.

I work for someone who does it. She has a very impressive photo album, filled with before and after shots of the nasty wounds she's treated.

well we used it on a filly, who had a granulated wound on her leg. vet recommended we try it to see if it would speed the recovery up, i think it helped at first but then us and the vet agreed that the next time she was out doing physio it would be a bad idea to laser it and we left instructions as we weren;t present and she lasered the wound which nearly completely stopped it healing and we reverted to aloevera with the intrasite gel to restimulate it to reheal and it did. we haven't used laser since. oh and nearly forgot she did laser a fracture she had to reduce the swelling and inflammation and it helped that greatly.

ive used it a number of times with good/mixed results. sometimes hard to know if the ailment would have healed anyway - others its had immediate effect-on severe lameness for example. i'd recommend giving it a go but as with many of these treatments its more about the administation and experience of the person diagnosing the "real" problem as the symptoms are often far from the underlying problem.
