After 3 attempts to get Elmdale Eduardo (Eddie)to his new home in Essex, on Sunday 3rd Jan he finally arrived!!!!!! I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thankyou to Verena and Pat for all that they have done for Eddie and myself
Eddie has got himself a new girlfriend, but is more interested in the grass then Dolly bless him. He has settled in really well now and is very laid back and chilled out in his new stable,he has such a big personality, the funniest thing he does at the moment is he keeps checking my pockets for carrots every time you stroke him. I have posted up some pictures of him in his new rug and of him and his new girlfriend, not sure if pics are going to work as its the first time i have done it, but here goes.
Fixed the picture and removed the extra copies - Rui

I am glad you all like the rug and yes its a joules one, thought I would treat him as he deserves it.
Hi Babsr, its nice to communicate with you at last and I would just like to say all your stallions at The Sunray Stud are simply stunning, I have also been planning which shows Eddie and I will be competing at this season, so I will keep you all updated of his progress.
But I have not got too much pressure have I Verena, as you have set the standard now with the outstanding results you had at the Foal of the year show!!!!!!!! LOL
But I am very grateful to Verena that she has got Eddie's showing career off to a fanastic start

The snow is getting on my nerves now and if the forecast is correct it will be getting worse for us tomorrow, if it gets too bad to drive then I will have to walk down to sort the horses tomorrow, I will need my ski's!!!
Eddie is too busy trying to eat the snow, he is having lots of fun showing off in the field with Dolly He is so cheeky, he thinks we want to play too, when ever we go through field to empty the wheelbarrow, he tries to run off with the broom!!!!!!! He is going to keep me busy bless his little hoofs, love him to bits.
How are you coping with the snow Verena? |

Hi Mellisa
Mara will be four in May. We have done a couple of in-hand shows with her and hope to have her out under saddle towards the end of the year. From the pics I have seen of Eddie, there is a striking family resemblance! Here is a pic of Mara in November this year
Not been on here much as been so busy! But saw your post and just had to say hello You are right it is really friendly on here and a great source of information-I sometimes have to ban myself or I wouldn't get anything else done!! |

Hi Maramoo, I do like Mara, she is lovely, the sunray stallions are rather nice and do produce some lovely youngstock. I like your browband by the way, have been thinking about which colour scheme to have with Eddie.
Verena, Keep meaning to ask where did you get the browbands all your mares are wearing I do like the navy and lemon? |
