Hi
You will find Monopoly's pedigree if you follow this link http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/monopoly9 and you can find a list of his progeny that have been listed there if you go to the reports menu and select progeny hope this helps and welcome to AL!

It could well be possible - I have bought two and subsequently found out that they were direct descendents of my first pony's sire (Ringing Gold) - must have just instinctively been attracted to them! |

Hi & Welcome. Have I missed something and have you given us the name and year of birth of your old mare, she looks to be missing from the on line allbreeds site. Several folks on here have the old PBAR and if you can provide the proper name and year of birth, they/we might be able to turn her up.Also, you can add her to the allbreeds site and them she will automatically show as progeny for Monopoly. Also did she have any off springs herself??.
I don't think it will be too difficult to find some stock for sale with the same of similar bloodlins..have you looked on the horses for sale on AL..there is always a good turnover of horses there for you to make a start. I have now looked at most of the listed progeny for Monopoly, there seems to be no progeny listed for any of HIS off springs...don't panic, as if you go back to LUDO, he has some excellent stock coming down the lines..including Indian Snowflake (Tollard Park Stud)and I have one out of Nandina, so related to this 'N' line. Good Luck with your reserch. Sue |

I shared a livery yard back in early 80's with a girl called Melanie who had Yasha Anne. She was a nice bay filly about 15h (I think from memory). I lost touch when I moved Mish and dont know what happened to her. It looks as though she never bred on looking at the progeny section on allbreeds. |

I've put his details on here;
http://www.sporthorse-data.com/d?i=10589149
His dam hasn't got any further details about her mentioned in the PBAR.
If you click on Monopoly and then his progeny you can see what he has got registered (not a complete list!). I've found another PBAR so far and I am slowly looking through the book, will put any more siblings on Sport Horse Data.
I've also found a full-sister to your horse born 1976, Mayfayre, same breeder and also in PBAR XVII. Dam is only given as Claudine on her. |

Afifi was bred by Ann Bowditch at Dorocina, so there is a lead to that line. Miss Bowditch still has horses about and still takes part and interest in her horses. I last saw and spoke to her at the Arab Marathon. I feel sure if we check up on some of her 'todays horses, they will have this line in there breeding. Here is one Flittermouze, that has Miss Bowditch's breeding, bred by her and owned by her untill recently, now at stud and goes back to Afifi. Miss Bowditch also owned Aconda, Hari and Fari ?, plus others, I feel sure there will be others. Here is Flittermouze.

Bright Dreamer also goes back to Afifi, through Taffie. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bright+dreamer Sue |

There are quite a few mares called Lorna Doone so can't put any more down on her. If anyone can find Benita Doone in a NPS book and perhaps McLeod of McLeod in a New Forest book (if he is the New Forest part) it would help. I haven't got a complete set of PBAR so can't check if Benita Doone is in it. |
