Well, I have been trying to get myself organized with the horses here in France and hope to cover both my mares next year by my stallion wheres the problem I hear you saying???? wll apparently they cannot stay registered with the AHS and have to be registered here in France Here lies the problem I cannot find the AHS of France anywhere, let alone the registration dept. PLUS my french is very limited, so now what do I do?????? why does everything have to be sooo hard I have written to the AHS and asked them for help, so awaiting a reply I was soo excited about the New Year and all my plans now I am just pulling my hair out

angelarab your wish is my command will try to make time over the weekend to take some pictures of him and the girls, who can hardly walk at the moment as padded up to the yin yan with three rugs on a piece as went down to minus 9 and mum panicked they would get cold |

Im sure if you contacted the Maxwells they would give you advise too as they will have had to do the same when they relocated to France. If you google Lodge Farm you will find their stud details. |

You could contact AL member Kastell, who is in Britanny and has recent experience of moving a mare both ways.
Don't worry about the complications: your stallion will not know, and can still cover your own mares even if the paperwork is not fully sorted. I reckon you have about a year to get the beaurocracy sorted before you need to worry.

They will have to be registered in France here's some help hopefully.
Les Haras Nationaux, who are the main body responsible for the registration of all horses within France, have made accessing your equines data even easier. It really is worth taking a few minutes to register on their site for free as there is then the ability to access and amend information on the equines you own in the click of a button. Here’s a step by step guide….
First go to the Haras Nationaux website

Well Jaybird I must be really thick as my computer will not translate the site and the english version comes up with the same page and I cannot find where to register myself and my horses, so no closer, but thank you so much for your advice |
