Gerri

Im sure if you contacted the Maxwells they would give you advise too as they will have had to do the same when they relocated to France. If you google Lodge Farm you will find their stud details.

You could contact AL member Kastell, who is in Britanny and has recent experience of moving a mare both ways.

Don't worry about the complications: your stallion will not know, and can still cover your own mares even if the paperwork is not fully sorted. I reckon you have about a year to get the beaurocracy sorted before you need to worry.

Get back to enjoying the planning. Good luck.

Hi Gerri

They will have to be registered in France here's some help hopefully.

Les Haras Nationaux, who are the main body responsible for the registration of all horses within France, have made accessing your equines data even easier. It really is worth taking a few minutes to register on their site for free as there is then the ability to access and amend information on the equines you own in the click of a button. Here’s a step by step guide….

First go to the Haras Nationaux website
