Just been watching dressage from Olympia: Moorlands Totilas has broken his own world record for freestyle dressage - 92.300 - over 10 points clear of the 2nd Parzival with Britain's Carl Hester riding Liebling II 3rd - WOW - stunning stuff!!!

He was just in another league wasn't he - truely amazing to watch, quite disheartening to others who still got brilliant scores! |

We were there
He was just outstanding, you can tell as soon as he comes into the ring that he's in a class of his own. Every now and then a really special horse comes along, they create magic, Totilas is one of these. Absolutely stunning to watch. |

he is fantastic!!!! but his sire is one of my favorite stallions ever. i did my work exp at karren basset's and she had a 4 yr old called vertigo by gribaldi. he was such a lovable chap and was definitely the one i had got attached too. |

Moorlands Totilas (actually and Parzival) were in a different league to the rest last night. He is helped by being an extraordinarily beautiful horse to begin with, and then the movement is amazing. I really liked his demonstration earlier in the evening too SarahPasha

Yes I agree (although I thought Laura B should have been given a better mark!)... Parcival beat Totilas in the Special at the Europeans, so it would have been interesting to see what his score would have been if he hadn't had a couple of miscommunications! Although I think any horse to perform with the crowd that close deserves a Gold
I LOVED the masterclass - really simple but soo effective! Wish they would have given him longer than 15 mins!
Also thought Viki T and Toni Terry did a good job! Never had a lesson with Viki but she rides beautifully and has done such a good job with Toni that I think I may have to give her clinics a go |

Interesting what you say about the Toni Terry pas de deux. I was really irritated by the whole thing (anyone can do dressage with a cartload of money provided by their husband and 11 months training apparently.. ) Hope Vicky Thompson paid for the advertising but I bet she didnt. |

The masterclass with Edward was great and his mare was really sweet.
Agree with Arachnid about the pas de deux, it was terrible, they were not in synch, she went wrong, it wasn't even entertaining. I'd much rather have watched a simple and correct pas de deux by two un-known people where the horses work in synchronisity.
And she sounded like Stacey from the XFactor when she spoke
Ooo, off topic I know but have just noticed some new smilies, I like this one |

Lovely, lovely horse - it must be that tiny bit of Arab blood in his pedigree!! Edward is also a lovely rider, and the two are a team. |

Amazing to watch , and he can only get better. They are certainly in a league of there own, although i do think Adeline and Parzival are also amazing.
Well done to all the Brits we seem to be catching up at last with the best. |

Oh dear! Vicki and Toni are getting slated on the BD Forum! Ooops!
Thought I would just say, for those who weren't there, the best horse of the night award has to go to the little shetland who when Lorenzo (is that his name?) whistled, came charging in and got in line with the others! What a little star! I would LOVE to know how he gets his horses to do the things he does!
And the best riders for me were the Police Activity Ride! Absolutely brilliant! Without the celebs and Totilas, I would still go every year just to see them |
