After eight years of loaning other people's horses it was about time I bought my own again so I am delighted to let you all know that the lovely Mushammer arrived in Sussex this weekend. It's taken me roughly nine months to find my next endurance partner and I'm VERY excited about our future together.
His breeding: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/mushammer. Piccies are on the for sale section here.
Mush arrived on Saturday afternoon and will be spending some time chilling in the field with his two new play mates (one anglo and one draught) and doing some groundwork with me before we get started hacking, schooling and training.
I would like to take this opportunity say a formal HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who's helped me through this process. In particular Arachnid who's tirelessly accompanied me on various horse shopping adventures and my hubby who doesn't read this but still deserves a mention as he's the best, as well as a number of people who have emailed me with suggestions and ideas of suitable horses and those who continue to support and help me whenever I have questions (special mention of Pauline as well).
Have to pinch myself now when I go to the yard and see MY horse coming up to me in the field - hurrah - at last!!!!

Yay!!! Congratulations! I've also replied on EGB forum, but if you'd like some company at NCRs/Novice classes let me know as Maj will hopefully be doing her novice season next year. |
