Yesterday my friend and I finally got our 2 fillies delivered to us after what seems like a very long wait!
My friend Caro has bought one of the fillies I bred at Rollestone...Montoya's Zakiyyah... a palomino out of a cremello WB and by the wonderful AV Montoya. I am so pleased that she has her as we will be out showing next year with her and my new girl so at least it's one less horse that I have had to leave behind up there.
The coloured in some of the pics is my little Diva...aka Miss Independance... who is by my homebred coloured sport pony Rollestone Inde-Cent and out of a trakehner mare She is only 4 months old bless her so lots of growing to do! I won't bore you with pics of her though as she's not Arab! Lol
So here is Caro's girl Kiyyah today in the field after being kept in for 2 months babysitting another weanling who cut his leg

Congratulations Caro !!! What a lovely filly, she has a real "Montoya" look about her - have you seen the vid of Montoya at Aachen on his website www.avmontoya.com - really fabulous to watch, especially when you have one of his babies (like we do )

Hi Jamana - you're right my ex and I split up over 18 months ago and until April this year I was still running the stud and livery, but now he is living there with his new girlfriend and myself and our daughters are no longer involved in the farm in anyway. It wasn't an amicable split and leaving behind 5 years of my life and the dream I built up in that time has been hard, but life goes on, and where I am now keeping Diva (the coloured filly) there are 2 other coloured foals by my stallion Inde so it is like home from home lol |

what a beautifull filly. have never seen a WBxarab mix before and have to say im plesantly supprised. have heard a lot of positive comments on them and they seem to be getting more popular. looking forward to seeing them under saddle and proving yet again arab blood enhances all breeds. your filly looks to have great conformation and a beautifull head. i look forward to seeing her out and about. |

Hi Sally - yes Zakiyyah would definitely have been on cam - I had left the farm by the time Diva was born in June and he didn't put the cams on for the last couple so you may not have seen Diva... I know a friend sent her mare there to be watched as she was due any day and he missed it because he didn't stay up watching the cctv! She wasn't amused!
