Hello everyone.
Sadly I am not currently involved in Arabians, I own a show cob and a TB. However I also seem to have inherited an Arab stallion I used to ride many years ago. I did a search and came across mention of him on AL forum from 2005. I was very touched by some lovely things that were said about him so decided to do a little investigating. He is Shah Royle (by The Shah ex Mazella), he was born in 1976, so is now 33years old, looking a little the worse for wear, but can still get excited by the site of mares, and loves his food. His temperament is, and has always been outstanding, a very fun little horse. I did show him a few times, at local level, but unfortunately Shah Royle was never really promoted. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has any horses related to him.

you'll find a few fans of The Shah here, in the little Babson-clic! I'll bet your lad is a handsome gent with soulful eyes. 33 - well, what an age! |

Good Lord! Fancy the old chap being still alive - that's wonderful! He was the first stallion I bred my old mare to (lost her last year at the age of 30), unfortunately, she did not take which was a shame as she was a Shah granddaughter. I too would be interested to hear of any of his offspring - just to see what I missed

Welcome Janet.
You may only have 'inherited' an Arab but you're on dangerous ground here on AL. Beware, you might get reinfected with the Arab bug and want to be involved again!!
Stick around as there are loads of super people on here and some phenomenal Arabs!
We'd love to see pictures of your horses too! |

Wow, thank you all for replying. Its very exciting, and lovely to hear from people interested. Would love to know if any of his progeny are still going, and about their lives. I will see what I can do about geting some pictures posted of Shah Royle, he is a very special chap, and knows it! |
