Leaving you the link to the EGB - Lindum site, which has some results and times for this 4 day ride ( 22 - 26 July). If anyone has any photos they can add for this ride we'd love to see them. and maybe the official photographers link....
http://www.ponies.me.uk/lindum/index.php?page=lindum-epic-161km
Looks like ( don't quote me) the winner was Helen McFarland and J St.Jake (visiting from Ireland at the mo) and Heather & Shahfabah was 2nd in the Lindum Epic of 161km (100mile),also looks like these were the only two finishers in this class. Well Done to them.I bet Maureen can add the breeding of Sahfabah for us...
There are more results available by going to the bottom link and scrolling down on your left to the list of Major rides taking place this season.there you should find other results and other rides in the pipeline.
http://www.endurancegb.co.uk/
and the archive site, keeps records for horses and riders. (http://www.archive.woodsideendurance.co.uk/)

Hi You were right in your results there were only two finishers.
Shahfabba is an Anglo Arab of 50/50 blood, his sire was Stanni who was by Shahastanni by Najinski. Shahastanni won the Derby I believe 5 times( but a 100% ). His dame was a pure bred arab called Al Arami and she was by Midnight Gold by King Cotton Gold and she was out of Dilaram who was by The Shah.
Shahfabba was bred by no other than myself.
I am so proud of them all |
