Can anyone provide any information or pictures of this mare?
She is the dam to my 4 year old (Eas Sabbah) - His sire was Omar El Sireff.
My boy was bred by Lisa Dunn from Norwich in Norfolk and he was born March 2005.
I'm not sure if Lisa Dunn owned both Omar El Sireff & Saarida Bint Shahliah or just one of them...! I was PM'd an email address and tel number for Lisa Dunn but she has moved and the new owners couldn't provide me with new contact details.
I've managed to find info about Omar El Sireff from google and some lovely pictures as well.
I'd really like to know about his dam and where she is now. What colour was she, what height etc. Also some pictures would be great. I know her sire was Cas Sabur and was delighted to read some recent postings on AL about his success in the show ring a few weeks ago.
A few people have asked me recently if my boy is pure arab, as he doesn't have the typical araby head. In fact he has a very straight head and nose with no dish.... His sire is full Egyptian and his granddad (Cas Sabur) i think (correct me if i'm wrong) is Egyptian / English bloodlines. He is pure arab as his passport says so, and i have a copy of both his dam's and his sire's pedigree.
I'm also intrigued to know what colour he will turn out. He is dark grey at the moment, but has a lot of brown hairs in his mane and tail and a few small brown patches on his body.

I managed to find a contact email address for Lisa Dunn and emailed her about an hour ago. She just phoned me....
She is going to send me some photo's of both Saarida Bint Shahliah & Omar El Sireff as she owned both. She still has Saarida Bint Shahliah but the sad news is Omar had to be PTS (can't remember how long ago she said now - fairly recently though )
That is such sad news as reading back through some of the old posts on AL it looks like he has produced some lovely foals over the years.
If anyone else has any info or pictures of Saarida Bint Shahliah i'd still like to see them.
