Marbon Mobago, a yearling colt bred by Diane Ellis - by H Tobago out of G Forgetmenot - has recently been purchased by.....the Gamlins!!!
Diane tells me that Mark Gamlin came to see Mobago, with a view to showing him at a couple of shows for Diane this summer - but he liked Mobago so much that he brought his whole family back to ask Diane to sell him to them!!
Isn't this wonderful news?! I am so happy, both for Mobago, who has gone to the best judges and kindest show-trainers on the planet, and for the Gamlins. I know how much they have all missed Tobago since I persuaded them (with great difficulty!) to let me buy him 3 years ago - I remember Mark texting me saying 'There is a big Tobago-shaped hole in our lives now'. And now that hole has been filled with a splendid mini-Tobago!!
And Mark has advised Diane to breed Forgetmenot back to Tobago again - which she was already planning to do, as she was so pleased with Mobago...
So I just wanted to say happy congratulations to Diane and the Gamlins!

Its so good Marbon Mobago is fab i am so pleased the good news is out and what a fantastic home Di could not of sold him to better she will be so pleased to see him out and about Fingers crossed for a filly for the next one for Di congratulations to all  |

Yay, wonderful news for Di, for Mobago, and for daddy himself. He's a lovely colt, i remember admiring him when he was born last year.
