Anyone know of this stallion? He is my mare's father, she is now 18 but he was a young stallion when I used him so he may still be around, would be interesting to know.
Do you mean the 1985 chestnut horse by Sir Star from Zarafah? He was at Geoffrey Plaister's Imperial Stud for years - cannot Geoffrey or Peter Upton tell you what happened to him? If he is still around he will be 24 years old.
Yes, that's his breeding. That's a good idea, wasn't sure if Geoffrey Plaister was still around, would the AHS give me contact details for him do you think?
Hi Geoff's Imperial Arabian Stud was still listed in the 2004 AHS Stud Directory which makes it publically available info. Off to bed now but I'll PM you tomorrow. Or, if I get a chance, I could just phone Peter Upton ... he'll know what happened to Zarastar.
