Yesterday was a corcher!!!!!! I love the sun, but yesterday was unbeleivable and silly me decided I had better do a shop in the afternoon, so went with a friend, it was a nightmare I cooked and cooked and got soo hot that I could not find my way home from the next village took a wrong turn and as I am driving along I was crying thinking to myself "all I want is to find my way home" anyway I did eventually get home and my hubbie said to me that I had a face like a beetroot well I felt really ill and got a blinding headache, it was of course heatstroke we had hosed the horses down with cold water three times but had to run the hose for 10 mintues before hosing them as the water came out hot, so there is sun and then there is tooo much sun

OH NO! NO! NO! just tooooo HOT!!!.......sorry to hear you had sunstroke Gerri and hope you are feeling better now?? Not for me all that heat.....22 degrees is enough and start to melt above that temperature!!!

Bet your poor horses enjoyed their cool showers Definitely weather for staying in the shade or in the pool!!

We do need some hot sunny days to help with the haymaking now....so fingers crossed for a bumper crop of good June harvested hay. Can put up with the heat in the short term, for the benefit of horses Winter forage. Good Hay equals happy horses

A bit different today as its hot and pouring down with rain here yes I am praying I get her but she would not drop in price at all and yet I have had to drop my prices on the different things I have sold because of the economy crunch, would be fine except that have to pay for transport costs on top of the purchase price which I knew about anyway, so its no surprise, its just when reality kicks in its bit of a struggle still I would love the mare so will have get o with it and it could be August before hubby gets his cheque from the tax office and I don't want to wait that long and with paying out on the re spray for the brand new car he hit last week, rather than lose our no claims bonus it is going to be hard, so yes please keep everything crossed for me, as I am getting really stressed and down, just hoping he doesn't hit another brand new car Twit
