The best description of his condition is ‘stable’.
He almost always rests a limb when stationary but has no obvious lameness at walk or trot. He‘s happy enough turned out with his buddy & on once daily NSAIDs.
I’m trying not to look too hard for lameness now, more at his overall quality of life. I think it’s highly unlikely there’ll be any improvement, but the current rate of degeneration is very slow.
Here he is yesterday, hoping that another hay delivery was imminent!
