Hi Sue,
This year we hope that we will be able to meet some of the other owners.
Our boy, VA Mitraz, is making his debut in the 1st race (the Maiden 6f) on Sunday...I don't know whether to watch 'properly' or hide behind my hands and peep through my fingers!!! I honestly don't care where he comes, as long as he gets to the finish in one piece and enjoyed himself doing it, but I will probably be crying and holding my breath anyway! Daft emotional woman, that I am...!

BXPS Racing will be there in force with decs for Even Keener, our baby 3 year old Senor Dubblecheck (Monty), Notid, Plus ( Missy), El Buba ( Rocket) and tb Kings Cavalier......subject of course to getting in. The entries for both maidens were 19 and the second open race 23, absolutely great for ARO, but the safety factor is 13 so there may be one or two disappointments this time.
Before, in between or after be happy to meet up with any AL'ers

Did anyone see the article on Arab racing in this month's NagMag - a free mag in the South East? |

Sue and Cliff, lovely to see you again today and huge thanks for the cake for Team Samad, it was delicious Looking forward to the pictures.
Sorry to have missed meeting with you Liz. Your boy did good and looked a picture, and so well behaved as well.

Hi,
Sorry that we didn't meet up with you, too or anyone else for that matter. Congrats to all.
Being totally newbies, we were wandering around looking lost and feeling very nervous, especially as it was Mitraz's first race...tears, tissues, but no running mascara! We did meet up with a couple we had met at the livery yard, where we were when Arabitis started some 12 years ago, so 'hung round' with them. We were very proud of our boy, he did look good and was well behaved, taking an interest in everything, even around the track...ears *****ed all the time. Walter got some super pictures, which I would post, but having absolutely no idea how to do it, you will have to take my word for it!
At least, our boy ('Sexy Legs') didn't come last, 10th out of 11 in our eyes, is quite acceptable, especially as he seemed to have enjoyed himself. Will hear later today if there is any heat or swelling in his legs and if not, he will probably race again next weekend at Fontwell.
We are exhausted this morning as we have had quite a weekend...down to HoCoN on Saturday to see Mitraz's big sister being shown, home again and then to see Mitraz racing and we live in Lincolnshire...just a little mileage and fuel used, but all worth every penny!

Hi David,
I shall let Walter know and if he is able, he will be in touch. Failing that, perhaps a red carnation in the buttonhole?? I shan't be able to go, as we live too far North, but Walter is on standby and at our flat in London and as Fontwell is a lot closer to Heathrow, he might just make it.
