Searching for the history or any information on Aristazia (passport name) 14.2hh chestnut Arab mare. She was born 1990, will be 19 this year. She has one long white front sock and one short hing sock. She also has a slight white patch on her front knee and a few odd white spots. She has a blaze and a pink nose. We believe she at some point was rescued and taken in by the Medway horse rescue centre, however am unsure if this centre is still around as cannot find any contact information. She was then supposedly passed around 8 homes before finally coming to us around the age of 14 for a home for life. She seems to have been well schooled somewhere down the line. She's a very sweet natured mare and a fun ride, although typically spooky. We cannot understand why no-one wanted her!!
Any information please don't hesitate to get in touch! I believe she came to us being called JarJar??
I will post some pictures of her, can someone explain how please? I will also find out her sire and dam as I've forgotten their names offhand.

Couple of headshots of Aristazia. As you can see she doesn't have a dished face. I will take some full body shots tonight. |

I have just looked at Arisataszia's papers and her sire is ANTOON (ZERO/BAZTILLA) her dam is KARISZMA (MUSKETEER/PERISSA) and she was bred by a Mr and Mrs Bryan in Snodland, Kent.
Hope this may help find more information about her...

If you speak to Gill she will have all the details you need. She owned both the mare and stallion. |

Hi, I've just joined AL and seen your post, thought I'd let you know I have a stallion who is out of Antzaris full sister, Ankartis, by Prince Shazani, he was also bred by Gill Bryan. Where are you based? I haven't seen Zsa-Zsa in years, remember showing alongside her in an in-hand class at Ardingly when she was a yearling or two year old she always was a beautiful colour. |

I have a picture of Zero somewhere as my horses are his grandchildren. I will have a good lokk for it and try and put it on here. I was given it a long time ago by Evening Snowdrop's breeder but in all the moves it may have gone walkabout. |

I have been unable to find the photo but Ibn Al Antoon 's head is very like Zeros although he was grey. He was a very well made boy. |

Hello minigoose, I have at last found my snaps of Zero taken in 1974. Owned by Mr. Ward, Brynore Stud, Shropshire.

Thanks for those photos Nimlat. The head picture brought tears to my eyes as I now see where Rimmy got his looks from. It could be him looking at me. Milly certainly resembles her great- grandmother. It was because of the resemblance that I found their papers eventually. |

Hello, thank you everyone for the pictures and info! I haven't had internet access for a while now so was unable to check the forum! Aristazsia/Zsa Zsa is stabled in Hartlip, Kent. Do you remember how she did in the in-hand show? I'll be taking her to a local show this weekend actually. Does anyone know if she always had white spots? I think the number she has, has increased over time. Unfortunately, she has fairly badly scarred legs. We still don't know what happened and why she ended up in a rescue centre. I believe the rescue centre we were told she came from no longer exists as I have had no luck whatsoever finding such a place.

And Karitzi received a 'Perissa' rosette at last years National Championship Show if I remember correctly - how's that for keeping it in the family!
As for scarring in the show ring, at local level it is entirely down to the judges preference. I do a lot of judging and hardly ever look at scars unless I can't make my mind up between two.
The spots she has are common(ish) with chestnuts and are called Birdcatcher Spots. I will post a link later to a website explaining them.

Hi Minigoose,
The in hand show I was referring to was the South of England Spring Show, Zsa Zsa stood second to my colt Ashtaris, it was really good to have the two relations standing one and two. Ashtaris has also gained white spots as he's got older, 20 now and they're still appearing.
Not based that far from you if you wanted to meet a member of the family in the flesh so to speak!
