Quick query - can't see anything about it on the site so....
My 6yr old qualified as a 2 and 3yr old colt, however, I had him gelded last year and hope to take him to Towerlands this time inhand - I know a qualification is for life (?) but does that count if going from colt/stallion classes, to geldings?
Thanks in advance!

Hi as a mad gelding collector, I am almost 100% sure that as he qualified after he was a foal you are entitled to enter as a Gelding as lets be fair now, the gelding classes as Stronger than most of the colt classes anyway, So im not saying it is easier to qualify as a colt its just quite often in colt classes you are in your own age section and with almost all gelding youngstock classes you and in the 1-3yo therefore making it harder to come at least 3rd!

Hope it makes it a little clearer for you I took my SE gelding to Towerlands and he was champion at 3 c shows as a colt and that was fine.

Best of luck

Louisa
