I have been wondering if one of you out there might have some knowledge of my girl; I have no breeding info but she has got several distuingishing features that might ring a bell...
My friends bought her from Derby market about 5 years ago (2004)where she had been sold a a 6 year old who had done it all; it soon became apparent she was only 4 and 'wild' (she'd been drugged and the man was a new dealer they didn't know).
I took her on and sorted her out (I work with horses), planning to resell her when she was ready - so 5 years later she's my best mate! Her most obvious marker is a huge scar, from hip to hip that runs all the way under her belly very close to her teats. The vet thinks this would have happened when she was very young, by getting caught on a fence. Hence my hopes of one day finding the person she was with when she did this - I'm sure it's not something one would forget in a hurry!
In no way do I blame that owner; they obviously did what they could for her and probably sold her on in good faith! I'm just curious as to what her history might be. The dealer had said she'd been 'cussops' bred, but they didn't have any knowledge themselves.

Hi Suzy, thanks but that was the only lead I had (got the spelling wrong). They were very helpful but had no knowledge of one of theirs doing that; they just suggested a dam sent to them may have been involved, but obviously they couldn't help there.
